SynPro’s™ Field Protection Maintenance Program

Each service call to our field owners include all of the following processes in order to maximize the longevity of their synthetic field as well as provide a safe and clean surface for all field users.

SynPro™ Fieldsurface Clean
- Keeps playing surfaces up to specification for safe use
- Removes debris and metal objects (safety pins, buttons, etc)
This service is critical to the regular maintenance of artificial turf fields and is necessary to keep playing surfaces up to specifications for safe use. SynPro’s™ Specialized Equipment employs a highly effective synthetic rotary brush to remove debris. We then sweep the surface with a magnet to remove any foreign metal debris such as safety pins, buttons, earrings and or pins. Our initial process will often catch most of those items; however we want to ensure that our work is complete.
SynPro™ Fieldsurface Decompacting
- Revitalizes and purify’s the field down to the base
- Deep cleans the turf removing all debris and contaminates
This included service is a more in depth process and not always needed but available for field managers who have a severe compacting problem. A common problem with artificial turf is debris and bacteria buildup deep down within the infill. This problem is compounded by compaction of the material, restricting drainage through the backing material and creating damp, stagnant areas. To address these problems, our SynPro™ equipment utilizes a rotary brush and turbine compressed air to lift all material out of the turf, dry and filter the material, sift out the debris and return the clean, dry and de-compacted infill back into the turf. Even the lightest debris is removed with the exclusive fine filter screen. This level of service is the ideal tool to regularly revitalize and purify any field right down to its base. We also use a process where water in injected into the field surface to wash out and decompact the infill system without touching the blades. This is very successful when the life of a field is at a critical point and achieving safe functionality is important.
SynPro™ Fieldsurface Topdress
This service is included in our routine maintenance and it involves evenly adding infill product to the lawn to achieve the appropriate levels per the manufacturer specifications. We replace or add the infill requested by the customer. SynPro™ has access to many different types of infill to meet our customers’ needs.

Topdress Replacement: Some customers want to change their infill product with some of the most recent infill technology. Some of our replacement products include but not limited to Durafill (click on this for details of Durafill). This service is not included in our maintenance routine, but for an additional service fee we will remove the existing infill and apply a different product. This can reduce the frequency of Disinfecting Service depending on our customer’s level of use. Some of our customers just don’t like the rubber infill. Often times it stains shoes, makes it into the pool and house and it seems to creep into the most precarious places when played on.

- Disinfects the turf field, ensuring you, your users play on a safe field

While they have been called in too rescue severely damaged fields, we prefer to save our clients time and money by designing athletic fields for today's demands, and tomorrow's growth. Eliminating the need to cure poorly designed and overused fields saves your resources over time.

Event Protection Services

Are you having a graduation, concert, firework show or any other event on your synthetic field. Our services include protecting your investment. We can either provide you with the supplies to protect your field or we can also provide a full turnkey protection plan and completely implement it on the day of your event.

Athletic Field Assessments

Our assessments are especially appropriate for existing fields that are showing signs of excessive wear due to over-utilization. In addition, our assessment model is appropriate for new fields, if high levels of utilization are expected. The assessment includes a detailed list of findings and recommendations (including 52 week maintenance plan).
